Date: 2013-08-27 02:38 am (UTC)Comparing her performance to past VMAs, I'd even say Britney in her day had more substance, and that's pushing my boundaries of taste, but a lot of what Miley did was just lackluster and boring, not provocative, not erotic, not daring, not new, not jaw dropping because of awe but of wtf is she doing?
It may be good to some celebs to be talked about the next day, and we now expect this from the VMA's (as when Pink's great performance on a trapeze was shadowed by Kanye grabbing Taylor Swift's award) but I can only see it going downhill from here.
