So back in Supernatural season four (2009), Dean Winchester went undercover in a high school as a gym coach, and hiliarity ensued with his 80's era outfit, complete with head band.
Go forward a few years to the Supernatural Conventions, when Richard Speight Jr. borrowed this costume from wardrobe. Here they are retiring the 'shorts' in an improptu (to Jensen Ackles at least) ceremony.
